Privacy Policy

    The short version: We collect nothing. Store nothing. Share nothing. Your financial data never leaves your browser. This is not a legal formality — it is how the product is architecturally designed.
  

1. Data we collect

None. quitjob.in does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personally identifiable information. All data you enter into the calculator — salary, assets, investments, family details — exists only in your browser's memory for the duration of your session. When you close the tab, it is gone permanently.

2. How the AI analysis works

When you click "Generate My Freedom Plan", your inputs are sent as an anonymous, unlabelled request to Anthropic's Claude API (claude.ai). This request contains only the financial figures you entered — no name, no device ID, no IP address is appended by us. Anthropic processes this request and returns the analysis. We do not log, store, or re-use these requests.

Anthropic's own privacy policy governs how they handle API requests. For API calls, Anthropic does not use the data to train models (zero data retention policy for API). You can verify this at anthropic.com/privacy.

3. Cookies and tracking

quitjob.in uses no cookies, no tracking pixels, no analytics scripts, no advertising networks. There is nothing to opt out of because there is nothing running in the background.

4. Excel template uploads

When you upload the Excel template or any document (Form 16, EPF passbook, demat statement), the file is read directly in your browser using JavaScript. The file contents are never uploaded to any server. The parsing happens entirely on your device.

5. Third-party links

quitjob.in links to NGO donation pages (Educate Girls, CRY India, SERUDS, Bal Raksha Bharat). These are external websites with their own privacy policies. We have no control over, and no data-sharing relationship with, these organisations.

6. Children's privacy

quitjob.in is intended for adults planning their financial future. We do not knowingly collect any information from minors.

7. Changes to this policy

If we ever change how quitjob.in works in a way that affects privacy, we will update this page and note the date of change at the top.
